It is with regret that we announce the death of
Pierre-Albert de Champlain
1919-2020
At the CHSLD La Pietà in Gatineau, on Saturday December 5, passed away at the age of 101, Mr. Pierre Albert de Champlain, son of the late Auguste de Champlain and the late Régina Fournier.
He was married in first marriage to the late Jeannette Viau and in second marriage to Yvette Côté. He is survived by his children Claire (late Raymond Julien), Pierre (Louise Lavoie) and Lyse (Jean-Claude Dufresne); the children of his wife Michel Lapointe and Nicole Blondeau; his grandchildren Brigitte (Gary), Michelle, Isabelle (Matthew), Benoît (Valérie), Annick (Frédéric) and his eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais located at 1369, boulevard La Vérendrye Ouest in Gatineau. In order to comply with government guidelines on COVID-19, only invited people may be present.

The family would like to sincerely thank the nursing staff on the second floor of the CHSLD La Pietà for the good care provided to him during his last years.
