She was born February 17th, 1927 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Walter Scherer and Carrie Kreitler.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Lee Gisi, of Ste. Genevieve.
She is also survived by several brothers and sisters and their spouses: Norma and Norman LaRose, Norman and Marletta Scherer, Joan and Donnie Lowry, Carol Scherer, Kenneth Scherer, all of Ste. Genevieve; Margaret and Robert Moll of St. Mary; Betty and Bill Bone of Rosenburg, Texas; Mary and Vernon Heck of St. Louis; and James and Cozy Scherer of Perryville.
One half-sister survives, Edith Harrison, of St. Ann.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one grandchild.
She was a nurses aide and a member of the VFW Post 2210 Auxiliary.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23rd, from 4-8 p.m. at the Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
A funeral service for 74-year-old Anna Mae Scherer of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve.
Burial will be in the Valle Spring Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Valle Schools or to the VFW Auxiliary Cancer Fund.
