SULPHUR -- Graveside rites for Laura Kirby, 93, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Drake Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating.
Mrs. Kirby was born Jan. 9, 1907, at Nebo, to William T. and Almedia Smith Mann. She died Sept. 22, 2000, in Oklahoma City.
She married Omar Kirby Sept. 2, 1928, in Sulphur and was a homemaker and seamstress. She had lived in this area all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 5, 1952; a son, Jerry D.; daughter, Betty R. Kringlen; three brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by a son, Donald, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Clagg Funeral Home will direct services.
