Mrs. Jane A. Foor, 51, wife of Alva M. Foor, passed away at her home in Garfield township, Bay county, on Saturday, February 2, after four months illness.
Funeral services were held this afternoon from the McClure Methodist church with the Rev. Stewart Eddy of Linwood, officiating. Burial was made in the McClure cemetery.
Mrs. Foor was born in Van Wert County, Ohio, on September 9, 1900 to Uriah and Florence Heath. On September 13, 1920 she was married to Alva M. Foor in Gladwin. They have resided in Bay county for the past 12 years, previously living in Gladwin and three years in Arenac county.
Surviving are her husband, Alva M.; six sons, Orval of Saginaw, Wayne of Pinconning, Ernest of Flint, Eldon with the U.S. Navy, Robert with the U.S. Marine Corp, and Ervin at home; six daughters, Mrs. Lucille Palmer of Flint, Mrs. Madonna Dubay of Linwood and Evelyn, Ellen, Arlene and Janette all at home; her mother, Mrs. Florence Heath, who made her home with the Foors; six brothers, Mariaman Heath, William Heath, James Heath, and Elmer Heath of Gladwin, Charles Heath and Orval Heath of Hillman; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Langs of Battle Creek, Mrs. Emma Berg of Gladwin and Mrs. Velma Joslin of Hillman; also 14 grandchildren.
