Journalist and politician. Isaac Abeytúa Pérez-Íñigo was a Spanish journalist, writer, and politician who was exiled in Mexico after the Spanish Civil War. He is known for authoring "The Drama of Germany and the Tragicomedy of Hitler" and for his significant impact on the Spanish press during the first half of the 20th century. In 1924, he served as the director of "La Voz de Guipúzcoa" and later became a collaborator of "El Liberal de Madrid" and the director of "El Liberal de Bilbao". Abeytúa was also a deputy in the Constituent Courts of the Second Republic in 1931, representing the republican-socialist candidacy as a member of the Autonomous Republican Party. Throughout the Civil War, he remained in Madrid and directed Politics, the organ of the Republican Left.
