Eva Marcella Stumbo Hollenbeck passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2015.

She was born in Atlanta Township, Becker County, Minnesota, on January 14, 1920, to Burley Quentin and Carrie Anderson Stumbo.

Eva married Clifford Hollenbeck in 1940. She was the love of his life. Eva and Cliff lived in North Dakota during their early years of marriage, moving to White Bear Lake, Minnesota, in 1954, where they raised their family. Retirement years were spent in Apache Junction, Arizona, where they loved hiking and spending time with family.

Our mom and Oma was a master gardener, artist, Sunday School Superintendent, baked the best homemade bread in the Universe, and loved her large family well. She taught us to love books, gardens, good cooking, and altruism.

Eva leaves behind a son, Douglas Hollenbeck, and two daughters, Nancy Hollenbeck Adams, and Heidi Hollenbeck Hyland, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She lived 95 full rich creative caring years on this planet. We are so grateful to have had so many years with her. She looked forward to heaven. We know she is there now. With a full heart we can say, "we will always miss you, Mom and Oma."

Eva's graveside service with be 10:00 AM at the Valley of the Sun Cemetery on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Chandler, Arizona, brunch to follow.
