Actress. She began her career 1968 in the film "Los recuerdos del porvenir." Later she acted in theater and television. She worked in around 50 movies and television series, including a number of telenovelas. She starred in the films "Rio Lobo" (1970), "Day of the Assassin" (1979) and "Hit Man" (1982), and worked in the telenovela "El Juramento," "Corazón Salvaje," and "Morir para Vivir," for which she won the 1990 TVyNovelas Award for Best Antagonist Actress. She was mother of singer Paulina Rubio.
