Special thanks are extended to numerous medical professionals over the past seven years as well as M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Most of all, special blessings and thanks can never be forgotten and go to her "soulmate", Mick Ashworth, who was there every step of the way in this long and unforgetable journey.
Survivors: Her daughters, Shelley Edwards of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Tiffany Dres and her husband, Hank, of McKinney; and twin granddaughters, Hannah and Savannah Dres.
