Edna J. Radebaugh, passed unexpectedly at home, Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She was born in Findlay, Ohio, February 6, 1928, to Florence (Decker-Perry) Alspach and William J. Perry. Enda married Robert W. Radebaugh on December 26, 1950, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robin, sisters, Mariam (Clark) Silveus, Helen (Richard) Adams, and brother, Ervin (Diane) Alspach Jr. Edna is survived by two sons, Daniel (Victoria) Radebaugh, and Bradley; one daughter, Wendy; sisters, Ella (Joe) Medvin, and Betty (Lanny) Semler; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Enda and her husband worked together on their family farm for over 40 years. As part of The Silent Generation, Edna also worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company during World War II, from 1942 to 1945. There, in a secret room, she helped the United States manufacture inflatable decoy tanks and jungle bladders for our service members overseas. She also enjoyed many years working at the old L & K restaurant on Tiffin Ave. in Findlay.
Always up for travel and adventure, there were many memorable trips around the United States and abroad that we were able to share with her. She imparted many lessons to her family and friends from all over the world, among those being, hospitality, kindness, work ethic, zest for life and her love for nature. Edna will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
