Ervin "Junior" Edson Alspach, Jr., 72, of Brooksville, FL and formerly of Findlay passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Brooksville Care Center, Brooksville, FL. He was born in Findlay on July 15, 1938, to the late Ervin E., Sr. and Florence (Decker) Alspach. He married Diane P. Beach on August 9, 1959, and she survives. He is also survived by three sons: Perry (Cathy) Alspach of Virginia Beach, VA, James (Cindy) Alspach of Findlay, and Thomas (Diane) Alspach of Findlay; daughter, Julie (Burt Smith) Franks of North Baltimore, OH; one sister: Betty (Lanny) Semler of Clarksville, TN, and four half sisters: Edna Radebaugh of Findlay, Helen Adams of rural Arlington, Ella Medvin of AZ; and Mary Silveus of Arlington; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Junior owned and operated JR's RV Service, which he started in 1980 and retired after 30 years in 2010. He liked to play golf, bowl, play softball, go camping, garden and coached for the Young Miss Softball League. He was an avid OSU football fan and loved the Cleveland Indians. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 20, 2010 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM & 4:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
