John Allen Crocker, 87 of Corpus Christi passed away on January 22, 2018. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 3, 1930. He will be dearly missed.

John graduated from Cohn High School. He married Joanne Richardson on January 12, 1950. John worked as a self-employed painter in Corpus Christi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Jefferson and Ida Belle Crocker; beloved spouse, Joanne Richardson Crocker; son, John Allen Crocker Jr.; brothers, William Crocker, Charles Crocker; and sister, Monteen Scruggs.

John leaves his loving memories to his daughter, Belinda C. Garza and her husband Reuben; his grandchildren, Jacquetta Dawn Dierlam, Joshua Jon Lopez; great-grandchildren, Matthew Dierlam, Shelby Dierlam and Tyler Dierlam; and nieces and nephews, Evelyn Lee, Robert Scruggs, Gloria McClain, Beth Patterson and Scott Scruggs.

Family will receive friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. An evening service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
