Mrs. Eliza Bethune (-1958) of 804 N. 14th Street died Thursday at 4:10 a.m. at a Palatka hospital after a short illness.
Born at Monticello, she had been a resident of Palatka for the past 12 years.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, Rev. Morris, pastor.

Survivors are daughters, Mrs. Helen Hatten, Mrs. Coral Lee Wells, Mrs. Maggie Hines and Mrs. Savanah Hines of this city; sons, Leroy Johnson, San Mateo, Willie Hines, and Alfred Hines of this city; mother, Mrs. Dora Allen, Armstrong; sisters, Mrs. Catherine Carter, Crescent City, Mrs. Alberta Small, Mrs. Eunice Mae Benjamin, Mrs. Lillie Bell Gaskin, Mrs. Liza Butler, Mrs. Leola McCall of this city, Mrs. Ella Lena Jackson and Mrs. Sillia Bolling, both of Armstrong.
