Professional Football Player. For eleven-seasons (1988 to 1998), he played at the safety position in the National Football League with the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons. Born William Eugene White, he attended Lima Senior High School in Ohio and played collegiate football at Ohio State University. Signed by the Detroit Lions during the 4th round of the 1988 NFL Draft, he totaled 170 career regular season games. In 1990 with Detroit, he produced a career-high 5 interceptions for 120 yards with 1 touchdown. White experienced an NFC Championship with the Atlanta Falcons who appeared in the Super Bowl in 1999.
