Veronica I. Holtzinger, 85, of Powder Springs, Ga., formerly of Bloomington, died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 19, 2008) at Brians Center of Powder Springs.

Mrs. Holtzinger was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Colfax, a daughter of Frank and Sarah Reardon Leary. She married Delmar J. Holtzinger on Dec. 29, 1945, in Bloomington. He died March 9, 1994.

Surviving are a son, Gordon (Pat) Holtzinger, Marietta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan and Katie Holtzinger; and a brother, Francis J. Leary, Bloomington.

Mrs. Holtzinger moved to Omaha, Neb., where she was a print shop supervisor for Conagra Foods for more than 25 years. Upon her retirement in 1986, she moved to Atlanta, Ga., where she worked in various positions for Kroger for more than 10 years.
