Cecrle, Frank J. age 90 of Union, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Good
Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. In 1947, Frank started Frank's Garage in Oakwood and later
became owner/operator of Cecrle Towing which is today known as Englewood Truck Towing
and Recovery. He attended Happy Corner Church in Englewood, was a member of the Ohio
Towing Association, the West Milton Eagles and American Legion and was a veteran of WWII
having proudly served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Brookie (Newsom) Cecrle, daughters and sons-in-law:
Beverly and Rick Baker of Greenville, Marcia and Mike Johnson of Union City, IN, son and
daughter-in-law: F. Anthony and Rhonda Cecrle of Clayton, sister: Mildred Stewart of Kansas, 6
grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his
daughter: Marylyn Jo Cecrle, parents: Anton and Francis (Kolar) Cecrle, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 21 at the Kindred Funeral Home
(400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Pastor John Jackson officiating. Interment will follow the
service at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from
1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
the Wellness Connection of the Miami Valley.
