They were the parents of William B Broadwell (1825/1905) who laid out the Village of Broadwell, in Logan County and for whom said village was named, he was married to Elsie Jordan, they being the parents of Richard Latham "Dick" Broadwell who was killed in Coffeyville, Kansas along with some other members of the Dalton Gang, during the infamous bank robbery attempt.
After the untimely death of William Broadwell in 1824, Margaret married Richard Latham on Nov 27, 1828. They were the parents of Benjamin B. Latham, John D. Latham, Julia E. Latham, Martha E. Latham, Henry C Latham and Kitty F. Latham.
