Mrs. Emma Ohlhauser, 67, Linton, died at St. Alexius Hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Ohlhauser was born Sept. 14, 1904, at Emmonsburg, west of Linton to Frederick and Caroline (Fry) Schnaible. She married Martin A. Ohlhauser at Herried, S.D., on July 9, 1923, and following their marriage the couple moved to St. Paul, Minn. They later returned to this state to live at Hazelton and moved to Linton in 1952. Mr. Ohlhauser died in 1960.
Mrs. Ohlhauser was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church of Linton and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She leaves nine sons: Theodore and Reinhold, Hazelton; Edward and Darrell, Bismarck; Rueben and Jacob, Minneapolis; Maynard in Wisconsin; George, Sacramento, Calif.; and Raymond, Glendale, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Dallas (Lila) Johnson, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Delbert (Caroline) Schlittenhart, Kellogg, Idaho; 38 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She also leaves four sisters: Mrs. Olive Sathren, Rapid City, S.D.; Mrs. Art Sathren in Iowa; Mrs. Dewey Sathren, Chicago, and Mrs. John Roth, Lodi, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Peace Lutheran Church of Linton, the Rev. Larry Nielsen officiating. Burial will be made at the Linton City Cemetery with the Kraft Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers will be Otto, Harlin, Donnie, Arlo, Edwin and Alex Ohlhauser.
