Rosa Lambarte Golez, 95, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at home in Suisun City, CA surrounded by love.
Rosa was born, July 7, 1927, in Manila, Philippines, a daughter to Ruperto and Sofia (Ferrer) Lambarte. On September 4, 1946 she was united in marriage to Benjamin Vista Golez in Manila, Philippines.
Rosa was a 45-year resident of Suisun City where she enjoyed cooking, entertaining family and friends, and hosting mahjong parties. She loved to travel, play slot machines and watch wrestling on TV.
She is survived by her 6 children; Josie Schaefer of Lawton, OK, and her children and grandchildren; Linda Frazier and her husband, Terry, of Mesquite, NV; Arthur Golez and his wife, Taunja, of Anchorage, AK, and their children and grandchildren; Sylvia Goodroe and her husband, Michael, of Driftwood, TX; Dale Golez and his wife, Christina of Tucson, AZ, and their children and grandchildren; and, Glen Golez of Suisun City, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers, Roberto Lambarte, Jose Lambarte and Alfredo Lambarte; and, her sister, Juanita Francisco.
Catholic funeral mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Holy Spirit Church, Fairfield. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery, Fairfield, CA. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
