Kenneth L. Piapot, 66, passed away due to natural causes on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Wake services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church with Earl "Archie" Arkinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Warrior's Burial Grounds. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Kenny was born on May 24, 1955, in Havre to John and Bessie (Raining Bird) Piapot. He was raised in Havre, Great Falls, and Rocky Boy, attending school there. After obtaining his GED, Kenny enlisted in the US Army National Guard, and served until his honorable discharge. He then returned to Rocky Boy, where he worked odd jobs for a while. He eventually began working in construction and at the soup kitchen, and then at the Senior Center in maintenance for a while until his illness required him to retire.

Kenny was a fun-loving man who enjoyed teasing those close to him. He enjoyed beading, listening to country music, gambling, and watching westerns.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenton Piapot; parents, John and Bessie Piapot; and siblings, Bernard, Algie, Larry, and Sharon Piapot, and Carmie and Elaine Chandler.

Kenny is survive by his daughter, Jillian Barnaby of Polson; siblings, Barbara (Joe) DuBois of Box Elder, Selena Valdez of Havre, and Russell (Teresa) Piapot of Rocky Boy; aunts, Pearl Whitford, Myrtle Raining Bird, and Janice Meyers, all of Rocky Boy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
