Leona "Dolly" M. Ament, age 78 of the Town of Harrison, went to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was born on May 25, 1939, in the little town of Bundy, WI to William "Bill" and Laura (Olson) Guolee.

Dolly attended grade school in Bundy and high school in Rhinelander where she graduated in 1958. She married her husband in May of 1958. For the next 22 years, Dolly followed her husband as he pursued his military career, living at many Air Force bases both stateside and overseas and raised her family of three children.

Upon returning to Bundy in 1980, Dolly became active in Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she taught VBS and Sunday School. She played softball with the Bundy Bombers and was active in Rhinelander bowling leagues. Later, she took up golfing. Dolly loved to hunt deer, fish, camp, and play cards. She also loved visiting her children and playing with the grandchildren.

Dolly is survived by her husband of 59 years, her three children, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lorraine Jacob; and two brothers, William "Bill" and Harold Guolee.

The memorial service for Dolly will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) with Rev. Al Montgomery officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the funeral home. Condolences for the family may be directed at www.carlsonfh.com.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, Dolly suggested that for those who would wish to honor her, memorials will benefit Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Bundy as well as cancer research and contributions may be directed in care of her family.
