Bernice "Faye" Courtney Hafley Stone, 79, passed away on Saturday, August 20,2022 at her residence. Born April 25,1943 in Woodford County, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Herman and Sylvia Martin Courtney Sr. Faye spent her life being a caregiver and taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, daughter, Kathy Hafley, grandson, David Allen Spurlock, sisters, Ella Maples, Mary Lou Stevens, Mattie Shank, brothers, Jimmy Courtney, Billy Courtney, Herman Courtney Jr., Bobby Courtney, Everett Courtney, Danny Courtney, and Donnie Courtney.

Faye is survived by her daughters, Glenda Ritchie, Somerset, Linda Arnold, Lexington, sons, Tony D. Hafley, Somerset, Glenn Hafley, Somerset, sisters, Ruth Dotson, Versailles, Kathy Mitchell (Gerry), Lexington, brother, Charles Courtney, Versailles, fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 24,2022 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Versailles Cemetery.
