Ardovino (Ardo) E. Mariucci, 98, De Pere, WI, passed away Sunday morning, September 4, 2022, after a short medical illness. The son of the late Angelo and Rosa (Marchionni-Antonetti) Mariucci was born on September 12, 1923, in Iron Mountain, MI. He married the former Alma Louise Rager on June 7, 1947, in Jeffersonville, IN. Ardo was a top salesperson for Chelsea Milling Company, Chelsea, MI. He was a pilot and built experimental aircraft. He loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles, but his greatest love was his family. He was also a professional guitar player in the area and was known throughout the state.

Survivors include his children David (Jane), Stephen, Susan (Edward VanGemert), Cathy, Mark, Teresa (Paul) Poehls, and Greg; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alma.

Family and friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan Street, De Pere, WI, Saturday September 10, 2022, from 9:00AM until 10:45AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM with Father Ben Johnson officiating. Military Honors will be accorded following mass. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial funds to the VFW, and Wisconsin Alzheimer's Association (in memory of Alma) have been established. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care of De Pere is assisting the family with arrangements.
