OBITUARY
Mrs. Ida Mai Sanders


Services for Mrs. Ida Mai Sanders, 89, of Murfreesboro, who died Friday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, are set for 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Freddie Carpenter will officiate.

She is survived by two sons, George of Smyrna and Claude Adkins of Nashville; three daughters, Almeda Green, Gertrude Culver, both of Smyrna, Everlena Nesbitt of Indianapolis, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The remains are at Scales & Sons Funeral Home and will be conveyed to the church, where visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday.
