Alan was born to the late Marion E. and Glenda Lou Spaulding, and retired from Phoenix. He was a 1976 graduate of Blytheville High School, and of the Baptist Faith. He loved to build BBQ grills, grilling, and working in his shop. Alan was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a dedicated father and grandfather and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Alan is survived by his wife, Debbie Haynes Spaulding of the home; children, Mark Bivens and Carla of Blytheville, Amy Tillman of Jonesboro and Ashley Powell and Jeremy of Blytheville; six grandchildren, Alexis Bivens, Makayla Powell, Addison Powell, Ava Claire Tillman, Mark Alan Bivens, and Jaxon Powell.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in Elwood Cemetery with Reverend Mike Welch officiating.
