Willodean "Dean" Pearson, 83, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022. Visitation will be Monday, September 26th, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The family will also receive friends Tuesday, September 27th, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Highland Park Baptist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow at the church with Bro. Brett Pitman officiating. Interment will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Dean was a native of Haleyville and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. Dean was preceded in death by her husband, Irby M. Pearson; daughter, Susan Diane Frederick; son, Kenny Pearson; granddaughter, Sarah Perry; parents, Hurst and Vera Teague; and 4 siblings.
She is survived by her children, Stan Frederick (Pam), Durant Frederick (Debbie), Renee Cox (Adam), and Terry Pearson (Gina); daughter-in-law, Selina Pearson; sisters, Edith Jolley and Betty Rains; grandchildren, David Frederick (Katelyn), Dan Frederick (Kaley), Jacob Frederick, William Perry, Austin Cox, Mark Cox, Clay Cox, William Noel, Laura Pearson, David Pearson (Jeannie), Bethany Pettus (Chad), and Nick Pearson (Sydney); great-grandchildren, Izzy Uhlman, Abbie Pearson, Jack Pearson, Jon Brody Pearson, Eli Pearson, and Maelyn Frederick; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
