Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Holy Savior Catholic Church. He was a retired Postal Service Schemes Examiner and a U.S. Army Veteran, 369th Inf., 93red Div. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his wife, Melba Porter. Survivors: daughter, Stephanie Porter Ellison; grandchildren, Charles Ellison Jr., Candyce Ware; great-grandchildren, Jalyn Ellison. Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S.
