Elroy Arnold Buried Friday At Bassenger
The funeral of Elroy Arnold, 29, son of W E Arnold, was held Friday at Bassenger cemetery, Rev Dunklin officiating. The funeral procession was a large one, possibly 300 friends and relatives witnessing the last rites. Death was caused by a gun shot wound in the heart. Mr Arnold was born December 30, 1904 and was married to Miss Lollie Walker June 1, 1924. To this union was born two sons, Clarence, age 7, Cecil age 2. He is survived by his wife, 2 children, parents Mr and Mrs W E Arnold, 5 brothers and one sister.
