Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Duncan, 76, who had made her home at 819 South 5th street in Bonham, were held Monday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock. at the Hail Methodist church. The officiating ministers were the Rev. Milford Thompson of Dallas and the Rev. Bob Carroll of Windom, Methodist ministers. Burial was in the Providence cemetery at Bartley Woods under the direction of Cooper Funeral home of Bonham. Grandsons were pallbearers. Mrs. Duncan died in a Fort Worth hospital Saturday, April 27, 1968. She had been in ill health for some time and had been in the Fort Worth hospital approximately six weeks. A member of the Hail Methodist church, Mrs. Duncan was born Feb. 1, 1892 in Fannin County, daughter of the late Lee and Minnie Kinkade. She married Issac Duncan Dec. 13, 1908 in Fannin County. He pre ceded her in death Oct. 26, 1945. Survivors are four sons, George Duncan and Glen Duncan, both of Bonham, Huel Duncan of Dallas and Samuel Duncan of Greenville: seven daughters, Mrs. Wesley Lockaby, Mrs. Mildred McKenzie, and Mrs. E. J. Jenkins, all of Fort Worth, Mrs. E. H. Taylor of Hail, Mrs. Dutch Decker of Glasford, III., Mrs. Adnah Pickard of Dallas and Mrs. Clifton Hill of Corpus Christi; four brothers, Roy Kinkade of Dodd City, Elmer Kinkade of Edhube, Andy Kinkade of Mesquite and Arris Kinkade of Mesquite; a sister, Mrs. Lewis Faith of Bonham, 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
