Paul was a retired IRS Agent, was a member of Ronceverte Christian Church where he served as both an Elder and Chairman of the Board; loved playing the guitar, fishing, gardening and woodworking. He was a US Army Veteran and was a graduate of Concord College.
He is survived by his wife, and would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on November 24, 2022, two sons, and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Betty and a brother, Edwin Dale Cooper.
