Mrs. Hemmerle, a former Windsor resident for 45 years, died Sunday morning in Sedgwick County Memorial hospital in Julesburg. She had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Jas. Dolan of Sedgewick, the past nine years, and had been in poor health the last four years.
Lucy Brewer, daughter of the late Calvin and Lavina Brewer, was born Feb. 4, 1876 in Fairfield, Nebr. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert, and a daughter Hazel.
Survivors include two sons and four daughters--Edward of Windsor, Mrs. Gerald (Lucille) Curtis of Campbell, Calif., Mrs. James (Emma) Dolan of Sedgwick, Valdo of Windsor, Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Hutcheson of Eaton, Mrs. John (Raechel) McHenry of Sidney, Nebr.; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
