Ada J. Henderson of Darlington passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. She was 98 years old, born January 27, 1924, in Bethel Township, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Jennie Mangold.

She was the wife of the late James E. Henderson, whom she was married for 56 years.

She worked in stores and during World War Two in a defense plant in Marcus Hook, PA making warheads for bombs. Later she was an accountant for her husband's business.

Ada was a member of West Nottingham Presbyterian Church where she was a former elder, worked many years with Meals on Wheels and the annual turkey dinner's pie table.

Ada is survived by her daughters: Janet E. Lott (Kenneth Anderson), Judith A. Beckley, Patti J. Wilson (Jack), and Jamie L. McCracken (Ralph); grandchildren: Stephen E. Henderson (Courtney Ruda), Brian J. Wilson (Chastity), Lindsay Bare (Jason), and Nicole E. Kelly (Evan); Great-grandchildren: Ryleigh and Addison Kelly, Tatum and Teagan Wilson, Declan Moore, Bexley and Cillian Bare.

In addition to her husband Ada was preceded in death by her grandson Jeffery Lott, brothers: Peter, Charles, and Paul Mangold; sisters: Emma Ruoss and Helen Stigile; and son-in-law, George Beckley.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church, 1195 Firetower Road, Colora, MD 1917 where family and friends may begin visiting at 10 AM. Burial will follow at West Nottingham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to "West Nottingham Presbyterian Church" and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
