Della Buster Cundiff, 69 years of age, of Colonial Village in Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, February 10th, 1977 at Lake Cumberland Medical Center in Somerset, Kentucky, following an illness of two years.
Della was born on July 7th, 1907, in Pulaski County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Buster and Sarah Frances "Sallie" Meece Buster. She married Cleo Cundiff in 1923 in Somerset, Kentucky.
Della was a homemaker and member of the Langdon Street Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky. She enjoyed cooking, being outdoord, and spending time with family and friends.
Della was survived by four children, Bert Cundiff of Reseda, California, Richard Cundiff and Betty Mounce, both of Somerset, Kentucky and Elizabeth Cundiff of Norwood, Ohio; three brothers, Manuel Buster of Somerset, Kentucky and John Mack Buster and Tom Buster both of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sisters, Clara Bailey, Helen McArthur and Grace Wideman, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lillian Taylor of Somerset, Kentucky, and Nell Massengale of Newport, Kentucky, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah Frances Buster; and her husband, Cleo Cundiff, who died in 1937.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 13th, 1977 at the Somerset Undertaking Company, with Rev. Harlan Avera officiating.
Burial followed in the Somerset City Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky.
