Daryl Barnes, of Wellington, Kansas, passed away Wednesday at the Clearwater Retirement Community in Clearwater, Kansas.
He was a 1974 graduate of Wellington High School.
Daryl farmed his entire life. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, four wheeling, science fiction, stars and constellations, reading and was good at working with his hands.
Surviving to honor his memory are his brothers; Elbert Barnes and his wife Marsha, Herbert Barnes and his wife Donna, George Barnes and his wife Jeannie, Merlin Barnes and his wife Rachel and Max Barnes and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death is his parents, Raymond Edward and Bernadine Ethel (McLain) Barnes.
