Charles was baptized at St Mary, Tewkesbury, on 29 November 1772, the son of William & Sarah Banaster. He died at his residence, High Street, Tewkesbury, on 1 July 1849, and the Gloucester Journal reported him as being the last surviving brother of George Banaster, Esq. He was buried at St Mary's on July 7th, aged 76 years
