Their children included: Jonathan, Esther, Andrew, Mary J. born about 1848 and died before the 1860 census of Vermilion County, Illinois, Sarah Ann, Maria "May" (1853-1886) who married Rev. Riley C. Grace and moved to Texas, and William "Billy" M., who married Laura Jane Anderson. Family records show a child called Nettie, who may be the same as Mary J.--perhaps Mary Jeannette.
Since William and Sarah Steward lived most of their married life in Vermilion County, it seems likely that Sarah is also buried in this cemetery, which is not far from where they were living in the 1880 census in South Homer Township in Champaign County.
