John H. Stoner, 7, retired farmer, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in his home northeast of here at 12:30 a. m. today.

Born in southern Indiana, he lived in the Fowler community since 1918.

He married Edith Bauman in 1906 and belonged to the Methodist church.

Survivors besides his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Cain, Rensselaer, and Mrs. Dorothy Thornbrough, Fowler; a son, Earl, of Goodland; a brother, Henry, of Sellersburg, and a half-brother, George Cortner, Charlestown.
