Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Mathilda T. Arabie, 66, who passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 8:10 A.M. in Eunice.
Pastor Dylan King, Pastor of New Hope Church in Eunice will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. until time of service in the Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.
Survivors include her husband of forty three years, Carol Arabie of Crossett, AR; two sons, Christopher, and Douglas Medus of Eunice; three daughters, Corina and husband, Robert Schexneider of Eunice, Leta Arabie and Barry Granger of Eunice, Mathilda and James Jackson of Crossett, AR; her mother, Gracie Mae Bertrand of Eunice; three sisters, Mary Patricia Belfour of Slidell, Audrey and Danny George of Sieper, Celena Vidrine of Eunice; three brothers, Michael and Debbie Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, Perry and Sandy Thibodeaux of Eunice, Glenn Thibodeaux of Houma; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Arabie was preceded in death by her father, James B. Thibodeaux; one great-grandson, Carter Jayce Pousson; her maternal grandmother, Odelia LeJeune; her paternal grandmother, Corinne Thibodeaux.
