Louise (Jones) Tolliver Shelby, was born December 7, 1934, to Major Camne;; and Effie Lee (Oliver) Jones in New Castle, Alabama. She passed away on December 28, 2022, after a short illness in Columbus, Ohio.
In New Castle she attended Evergreen Baptist Church, New Castle Elementary School and Hooper City High School.
Louise married Elise Tolliver and to this union, two sons and one daughter was born. Once she relocated to Columbus, Ohio, she met and married Wesley Shelby and one son and two daughters were born.
In Columbus, Louise joined and was baptized at Greater Bethel Apostolic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Shelby, Sr.; son, Wesley Shelby, Jr. parents, Major and Effie Jones.
Louise is survived by her children, Marlene Tolliver, Annie Lee (David) Norman, Elizabeth Shelby, Lee Calvin Tolliver, and Clifford Eugene Tolliver..
