Gavin Gilchrist, 55, died yesterday morning at his home, 26 Railroad street, Plains, after a short illness of double pneumonia. Surviving are his wife, the former Jessie B. Mann, and four children by a previous marriage, Andrew, Jean, Jennie and Thomas. Four brothers, James, William, Andrew and Hugh, also survive. The funeral will be held from the late residence Friday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. T. T. Brocious will officiate.
