Mauricia Apodaca Montaño, age 89, Deming resident entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mauricia is survived by her five sons, José Andres, Jesús Manuel (Aileen), Jesús Mario (Lourdes), Luís Martin and Pedro (Silvia) Carbajal, three daughters, Gloria Daena, María del Socorro and Rosa María Carbajal, a brother, Manuel Montaño, 43 grandchildren, 83, great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
Mauricia was preceded in death by her parents, Martín and Nestora (Montaño) Apodaca; her spouse, Bartolo Carbajal and seven siblings.
A viewing will take on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. also at Baca's Funeral Chapel with Raúl Granillo officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Bartolo.
