Partial obituary Sweeny's funeral home:
Noella Therèse De Mille – age 67, of Brooklyn, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed on peacefully at home on January 3, 2023 with her husband Tom by her side. Noella was born on September 14, 1955 and was the daughter of M. Adeline "Delina" (Comeau) d'Entremont and the late J. Roger d'Entremont. Noella worked in the insurance industry for the majority of her career. She was a people person that earned the reputation of being able to handle many situations with smile on her face. Noella was also a naturally talented artist who enjoyed drawing and photography which, upon retirement, led to more involvement and volunteering in the local art community. She also enjoyed staying fit and would work out to 80's workout videos 5 days a week! Above all else she was a loving wife, mother, and friend to many. Noella loved to spend time with people she cared about whether it was on a motorcycle, camping, or entertaining a conversation on her front deck looking out over the garden. Noella remained calm in every situation and rarely entertained an argument.
... Besides her father Noella was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Beverley De Mille; and brother-in-law, Milton Hanf. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
A celebration of her life will take place Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 2 P.M. from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel with Dustin Day and Hubert d'Entremont officiating. Interment will follow in Brooklyn Cemetery with reception following in the Bright Lights Seniors Hall.
