Juanita Blackburn
Mrs. Juanita Blackburn was born June 18, 1918 to Mr. Pascuel Bellinger and Betty (Chestnut) Bellinger in Pueblo, Colorado. Her early childhood was spent in Pueblo. In 1935, she moved to Madera, California. She was raised by her grandmother formally know as Grandma Carter. Juanita became a Christian at an early age. Juanita met the love of her life, Mr. Perry Blackburn who preceded her in death on November 30, 1982. To this union 2 daughters were born.

Juanita worked at Madera Sanitarium Hospital then went to work for Dearborn Hospital. She then left there to work for Madera Community Hospital in Food Service until she retired.

Juanita became on active member of Second Missionary Baptist Church in the early eighties. She also became an active member of the Southeast Garden Club for forty years or more.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Blackburn, her sister Lydia Jones, her brothers Phillip, Benjamin and Henry Bellinger & her father and mother Pascuel and Betty Bellinger.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Katherine Stanford and her husband Raymond of Los Angeles, CA; Terry Hall and her husband H.L. of Madera, CA; four grandchildren, Melanie Stanford of Memphis, TN, Raymond Perry Stanford of Chino, CA, Aaron Hall of Napels, Italy in the United State Navy, and Eric Hall of Madera, CA; seven great grandchildren, Shaun Riggin of Fresno, CA, Amber, Raymond and Perry Stanford, Jr all of Chino, CA, Ericka Hall of Fresno, CA and Ashley and Raven Hall of Gulfport, MS.

We loved her but God loved her best and on April 22, 2002, God took her home to be with him at rest.
