Bonnie Marie Calhoun Wood peacefully passed January 8th, 2023, at home while surrounded by her family. Bonnie was born December 5th, 1942, to Cecil ( FAG # 1161604) and Leona (FAG# 11616043) Calhoun in the Hospital in the Hills in Blanco, Texas. Bonnie was the fourth of five Calhoun children and the only girl. Bonnie was a graduate of Blanco Texas High School where she met her husband of 60 years, John Wood. The couple first lived in Austin moving in 1980 to call Blanco home for their two sons, Robert and Clint. Bonnie was an accountant for AT&T where she retired with 35 years of service. She later would become Office Manager for the Blanco County News and Hill Country Real Estate. Bonnie was active in her community she dearly loved.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Leona Calhoun, brothers Bob and James Calhoun, nephews Cole and Kevin Calhoun as well as Chris Norris.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Johnny, sons Robert and Clint, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 13th, 2023, at Blanco United Methodist Church 61 Pecan Street, Blanco Texas. Graveside service will follow immediately after at Mt. Sharp Cemetery.
