Sally was a member of Reform Baptist church. She loved boating on Mark Twain Lake, card games, and family get togethers.
Sally will be missed by her children, Cory LaGesse (Jennifer) and Amy Clark; brothers, Diamond Young, Roger Young (Anita), Charles Akers (Bonnie); sister, Linda Davidson; aunt, Hazel Girrard, special friend, John Warneke, and grandchildren, Andrew Clark, and Lexus Charlton (Vernace).
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Chad Akers and two brothers, Roy Young and Clifford Akers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Maupin Funeral Home with Jason Akers officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held at Benton City Cemetery.
