5 Dec 1962: William P. Boyer, 75, died Tuesday at 10 p.m. at his home in Quentin following an eight months illness. Boyer was a retired crusher foreman at the Bethlehem Steel Mines. He was a member of the Cornwall Methodist Church and the Methodist Men's Club, and was an honorary member of the official board and trustees of the church. He was also a member of the Quentin Fire Company. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Georgia G. Grimes Boyer; three sons, G. Russell, Cornwall; William E., Harrisburg and Carl E., Rexmont; three daughters, May, wife of George Doll, Cornwall; Edna, wife of John Starner and Margaret, wife of Lloyd R Early, both of Lebanon RD 5, 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Samuel Scott, Lebanon and three brothers, Jeremiah, Lebanon; Peter, Quentin and Samuel; Catasauqua, also survive.
