Funeral services were held here Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Tom Moore, 81, who died in a Austin hospital Monday morning following a long illness.--Services were held at the First Baptist Church with Rev. R.B. Green officiating. Burial was in the Bartlett Cemetery with Goodnight Funeral Home in charge.--Mrs. Moore was born in Rusk County, near Henderson, Oct. 30, 1878. She moved to Bartlett in 1907 and had made her home here since that time.--Survivors include a son, Henry H. Moore of Austin; a sister, Mrs. W.H. Worrell of Overton; 7 brothers, Joe, Lem, Elmer, Melvin and Monnie Cooper, all of Henderson; Olin Cooper of Ben Wheeler and Neal Cooper of Fort Worth; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.--Mrs. Moore had been an active member of the Baptist Church since childhood, and had been a Sunday School teacher for many years.--She was preceded in death by her husband in 1953.--Pallbearers were George Cagle, Ray Bartlett, Homer Whitfield, Denning Boyd, John Henry, Bill Biggs, Gus Persky, and Fred Tegge.---Source: The Bartlett Tribune and News, Bartlett, Texas, Thursday, October 27, 1960; Pg. 4
