She was recently predeceased by her beloved husband and partner of 31 years, Michael Collins Dixon.
For 12 years Bernie was both a Girl Scout and a fifer for the Lake Garda Fife & Drum Corps.
She worked in Quality Assurance of Finance and Training at Pratt & Whitney for 31 years.
She was an avid sports participant, she most enjoyed golfing with her son, performing plays with "The Spice Girls", riding bumper cars, and visiting zoos. She was seldom on time.
She volunteered for a multitude of charitable events.
Bernie is survived by her loving son Mikey.
She was predeceased by her parents Joan and Bernie Burnham, her brother John, and her beloved sisters; Jo-Ann Burnham Bill, and Barbara Burnham Thode.
Services were held at the Ahern Funeral Home, Unionville, followed by Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington.
