Calvin C. Bair, 73 years old, died at his home, 844 North Queen street, Wednesday evening. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. He was a blacksmith by trade, was born at Liberty Square and resided in this city for twenty years. The surviving children are: Harry, Elmer, George, Roy, of this city; Edward of York, and Mrs. John Reuter, Marietta. Two brothers and two sister survive as follows: Elmer Bair and Jacob Bair, Philadelphia; Mrs. Jason Slater and Mrs. Lizzie Bowman, this city. (The News-Journal - Mar 30, 1923)
