Don Franklin Hickman, 63, 1425 2nd East, died Friday at 9:30 p.m. at his residence of a heart ailment.

Born January 13, 1890, in Milford, Beaver County. He was a son of Deseret N. and Dorothy Ann Carrell Hickman.

He married Sarah Forsyth in 1910 in the Manti Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died in 1915. In 1917, he married Julia Mott in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

At the time of his death Mrs. Hickman was employed by Auerback Co. He has previously worked in the construction business.

Mr. Hickman was an active member of the LDS Browning Ward and a member of the 132nd Seventies Quorum.

Surviving are his widow, two sons, Nial Mott Hickman, Salt Lake City; Don Rue Hickman, serving with the U. S. Army, en route to Panama; four daughters, Mrs. Valna Hiskey, Pocatello, Ida., Mrs. Fern Madsen, Compton, Cal.; Mrs. Berley Bird, Salina, Sevier County; Mrs. Oma Kaye Barnum, Salt Lake City; one brother, William D. Hickman, Torrey, Wayne County; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Dearing, Springville, Utah County; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at 2128 So. State, by Wilford Edmands, bishop of Browning Ward.
Friends may call at place of funeral Monday until 9:30 p.m., and Tuesday 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
