Marilyn Mortensen Hunt 1929 ~ 2008 Marilyn Mortensen Hunt, our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away January 24, 2008. She will be dearly missed.Marilyn was born December 18, 1929 to LeRoy and Edith Mortensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marilyn married Milton Z. Hunt on July 6th, 1949 in the Cardston, Canada Temple. Milton preceded her in death on March 4, 1992. Marilyn was a most loving mother and grandmother. Her sweet spirit and disposition followed her throughout her life. Marilyn was a devoted wife to her husband Milton; following him from Phoenix, Arizona to Sheridan, Montana and in between, in their quest to support and raise their family. Marilyn had four children, Carol, Joel, Ilene and John Brent. Sadly she was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Carol on Thanksgiving Day, 2001. Marilyn was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions throughout the years. She loved to bake and was famous for her melt in your mouth cinnamon rolls. Marilyn is survived by her sister, Louise, son Joel, daughter Ilene, and son Johnny Brent as well as 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., in Sandy, Utah, Tuesday, the 29th of January at 11 a.m. There will be a viewing on hour before the service. Interment will follow at the East Lawn Memorial Park in Provo, Utah, 4800 N. 650 E., next to her beloved daughter Carol. Online condolences may be made at www.larkincares.com
